IF you mean as a 2nd drive, easy
Open case. Locate a space for drive.
If it is sharing a FLAT RIBBON type data cable with another drive, you need to know if existing drive is set to MASTER (MA), SLAVE (SL) or CABLE SELECT (CS)
If CS, set new drive to same, and install power and data cables.
If it's on MA set new to SL and vice versa.
Power on PC, boot to windows once drive screwed in place obviously
IF drive is a newer SATA drive.
Open casem, connect cables power on PC
Right click MY Computer,
Select MANAGE
LOCAL DISK MANAGEMENT
Locate NEW "blank" disc in list, right click and FORMAT and PARTITION it.
