Sir, you are truly an artist.
This is a brilliant juxtaposition; a complex search for warmth in the cold. I was genuinely moved.
It’s a strange truth that, as the world rejoices, our personal sadness grows more profound. We compare ourselves to a World decked in colors, and find that we are black and white. Perhaps that’s why I’ve never been able to fully comprehend or participate in the societal obsession with Christmas. It’s idealized and overdone to the point that the simplicity and the sincerity are lost.
But I detected hope in your sentiments as well. There is an idea that the feeling of “loss” itself is hopeful; that the act of remembering summons that which has vanished. We treasure our sorrow because it is the footprint of our loved one.
Never stop searching for the magic, my friend. :-)

Hello sweety, this video speaks for itself doesn't it, heart wrenching but loving. HHhhhhmmmmm maybe that is why Christmas is no longer my fav holiday, since my great grandmother died it has not been the same for me. I lost my innocence of always having loved ones with me and I miss her, her traditions and even her raisin buns. I miss my dog who use to go under the tree and smell out his treats and take them with him, I miss having the special memories that were made. I miss my own child like enthusiasm that use to be there and left when my grandma died. I miss the people who will not be here this christmas, a childhood friend who died at a young age, a few friends who tragically ended there own lives, I miss those who died of old age and medical conditions, I will miss my pets that are gone and i will miss those who are still here but can't be at my home on Christmas. I will miss many who I wish could be here, would like them to be here but will not be as they are too far away. I will miss anyone and anything that is treasured in my heart. Your video as always is just so beautifully done and as always when it is a sad video makes me cry. Bawled like a baby again, no matter how hard I tried not to. Oh well, they are simply heartfelt and provoking as they should be. you are an artist through and through. I hope that someone sees your videos and that you get a job offer because you have a natural talent but also an important message that I believe the world needs more of. You rock J and you really are in my eyes a true professional with the it factor .Great job J, keep it up.

Howcome you aren't working for a professional? Executive Producers might want to look at your work, if you are confident in yourself you should check into it, they can only say no. There is one thing, though, howcome all of your 2 videos that I have viewed have another persons name? Is your friend doing the taping, and allowing you to claim ownership, or do you decide upon the locations, subjects, and things that go into the video. I was seeing what role you actually had in the taping process?
I will miss the warm mild tempratures, the snow is lovely, but the bitter cold chills the soul.

This Christmas I am looking at it being the last in my hometown for probably good. I am moving away from where I've been since birth. Makes me realize I am going to be a little homesick soon.
And Christmas is my birthday, so as I get older I miss abit of my youth every year.
Your video is quite good. I loved the couple in the snow on their wedding day, awesome picture.

Saw the video. It was great and touching. Absolutely beautiful. I will go back in and down load it in my favorites and write a note about it there too.
I must say this, you have a way with saying so much with pictures, getting and cutting right to the meaning of what you have on your heart. You need neither words nor music for your heart states that which needs to be said and it comes out in your expression of love through the lens of the camera, you instinctively know what images express the tenderness, the joy, the sorrow and the meaning of life.
thank you

Enki, it looks like you caught me at either the right or wrong moment... depends on how you look at it. Your video is good and made me cry. I will miss my mom the most. I will also miss people who are too far away for me to be with.
It's been a while and I've missed answering your questions. I hope everything is going okay for you.

I LOVE your video. :-) I will miss my family and friends that I usually spend christmas with. I will be in Africa, away from everyone and all my family's traditions this year. I am excited, scared, and nervous all at the same time. Thank you for asking.

Excellent video! It pulls the heart-strings of sentiment. But it doesn't snow at Xmas here, and I try to avoid any external pulls on those strings. I've enough sweet sorrows of my own, and remember them every day without picking the scabs off. But others seem to enjoy their pain. Enjoy every day, Enki. There are few enough to make every one special.
