Not as often as I used to as the growth has slowed somewhat since I got a bit older . I would think every 6 -8 weeks will suffice now to keep it in check .
I pay around £5-to £6 including a tip which I think is pretty reasonable.

Hair grows at different speeds. I know when I take my vitamins my hair will have to be cut once a month, when I'm not on them my hair needs cut every 2 to 3 months.
I pay no more than 20$ if I'm just getting a buzz cut and I'll tip the person who did it.

I bought clippers and do my own every month to a No#2 (7mm) its far cheaper as the clippers average 2 - 21/2 yrs usage for round £15 - 20 and hair dressers charge that for a straight forward wet cut where I live ...

Every 1.5-2 months or before something important (interview, wedding etc.)
And it usually costs me about $15.

I had mine cut in about 1980 or 1981. I can't remember how much it cost though.
