Honor your family and Friends before you would yourself. And realize God is the best friend we all could ever have.
1) Honor Courage and Truth as they are rare
2) Never and I mean never take advantage of a married woman, as you being a man should have enough honor to respect someone other mans honor. Or lose yours for the sake of sex, and that is a sign of weakness.
3) Respect everyone, we all have weaknesses, and in so simply discovering someones does not make you a judge, rather it should show you how others may percieve how wrong you may be in things you think you are right in.
4) Try to help those that cannot help themselves, Karma is real, and a loved one may one day be the one being helped by the very ones that learnt that lesson from you.
5) Never have 2 of anything knowing your neighbor has none, that makes you smart and probably well employed, and maybe even a better worker and all the glorified things a well employed person enjoys, but it also makes you care more for personal belongings than people. I was taught that nothing matters more than human life.
6) Always care for children, and be willing to give all it takes for their benefit.
7) Respect your elders, even the ones undeserving. That makes you a teacher to them, and in so the student being the teacher. That sows kindness as a way.
8) Try to never harm anyone in life, but be willing to take and or give yours at a moments notice for God, Family, Friends and Country.
9) Try to be a warrior in spirit, but a monk in activity. This way you will be brave doing good things. Have honor as a code, and discipline as a style. Show others as you would like others to show your Mother.
10 ) Read your bible, koran, book of mormon, or book that enlightens you to a way of peace with God, and never be ashamed of it. This teachs others to also honor God.

1. Do right and forget, Do wrong and remember
2. It is ok to kill, as long as it falls under the Rules of Engagement.
3. Adultery is bad, but if she wants it that bad and she doesn't get it from you, more than likely she will get it from someone else. So have some fun, you only live once.
4. Only honor those who deserve it. Just because a man donated some sperm and you made a woman suffer for 9 months doesn't mean you have to honor them.
5. Be friendly with everyone, unless they have been identified as a threat, then be as ruthless as ever to neutralize that threat.
6. Video Games are excellent stress relievers, make sure you can play them, and teach people who cannot how to.
7. Do as many pleasurable things as possible.
8. Get out and enjoy life.
9. Do not go with the norm of society, identify your own path, and be an individual.
10. Don't take **** from anyone.

Here is my problem with the ten commandments- why exactly are there 10?

You simply do not need ten. The list of ten commandments was artificially and deliberately inflated to get it up to ten. Here's what happened:

About 5,000 years ago a bunch of religious and political hustlers got together to try to figure out how to control people and keep them in line. They knew people were basically stupid and would believe anything they were told, so they announced that God had given them some commandments, up on a mountain, when no one was around.

Well let me ask you this- when they were making this **** up, why did they pick 10? Why not 9 or 11? I'll tell you why- because 10 sound official. Ten sounds important! Ten is the basis for the decimal system, it's a decade, it's a psychologically satisfying number (the top ten, the ten most wanted, the ten best dressed). So having ten commandments was really a marketing decision! It is clearly a bullshit list. It's a political document artificially inflated to sell better. I will now show you how you can reduce the number of commandments and come up with a list that's a little more workable and logical. I am going to use the Roman Catholic version because those were the ones I was taught as a little boy.

Let's start with the first three:

I AM THE LORD THY GOD THOU SHALT NOT HAVE STRANGE GODS BEFORE ME

THOU SHALT NOT TAKE THE NAME OF THE LORD THY GOD IN VAIN

THOU SHALT KEEP HOLY THE SABBATH

Right off the bat the first three are pure bullshit. Sabbath day? Lord's name? strange gods? Spooky language! Designed to scare and control primitive people. In no way does superstitious nonsense like this apply to the lives of intelligent civilized humans in the 21st century. So now we're down to 7. Next:

HONOR THY FATHER AND MOTHER

Obedience, respect for authority. Just another name for controlling people. The truth is that obedience and respect shouldn't be automatic. They should be earned and based on the parent's performance. Some parents deserve respect, but most of them don't, period. You're down to six.

Now in the interest of logic, something religion is very uncomfortable with, we're going to jump around the list a little bit.

THOU SHALT NOT STEAL

THOU SHALT NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS

Stealing and lying. Well actually, these two both prohibit the same kind of behavior- dishonesty. So you don't really need two you combine them and call the commandment "thou shalt not be dishonest". And suddenly you're down to 5.

And as long as we're combining I have two others that belong together:

THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTRY

THOU SHALT NOT COVET THY NEIGHBOR'S WIFE

Once again, these two prohibit the same type of behavior. In this case it is marital infidelity. The difference is- coveting takes place in the mind. But I don't think you should outlaw fantasizing about someone else's wife because what is a guy gonna think about when he's waxing his carrot? But, marital infidelity is a good idea so we're gonna keep this one and call it "thou shalt not be unfaithful". And suddenly we're down to four.

But when you think about it, honesty and infidelity are really part of the same overall value so, in truth, you could combine the two honesty commandments with the two fidelity commandments and give them simpler language, positive language instead of negative language and call the whole thing "thou shalt always be honest and faithful" and we're down to 3.

THOU SHALT NOT COVET THY NEIGHBOR"S GOODS

This one is just plain freaking' stupid. Coveting your neighbor's goods is what keeps the economy going! Your neighbor gets a vibrator that plays "o come o ye faithful", and you want one too! Coveting creates jobs, so leave it alone. You throw out coveting and you're down to 2 now- the big honesty and fidelity commandment and the one we haven't talked about yet:

THOU SHALT NOT KILL

Murder. But when you think about it, religion has never really had a big problem with murder. More people have been killed in the name of god than for any other reason. All you have to do is look at Northern Ireland, Cashmire, the Inquisition, the Crusades, and the World Trade Center to see how seriously the religious folks take thou shalt not kill. The more devout they are, the more they see murder as being negotiable. It depends on who's doin the killin' and who's gettin' killed. So, with all of this in mind, I give you my revised list of the two commandments:

Thou shalt always be honest and faithful to the provider of thy nookie.

&

Thou shalt try real hard not to kill anyone, unless of course they pray to a different invisible man than you.

Two is all you need; Moses could have carried them down the hill in his "freaking'' pocket. I wouldn't mind those folks in Alabama posting them on the courthouse wall, as long as they provided one additional commandment:

Thou shalt keep thy religion to thyself.

In Islam Moses (Musa) is venerated as one of the greatest prophets of God. However, Islam also teaches that the texts of the Torah and the Gospels have been corrupted from their divine originals over the years, due to carelessness and self-interest. Despite this purported corruption, messages from the Torah and the Gospels still coincide closely with certain verses in the Qur'an. This is by-and-large the case with the Ten Commandments. Consequently, despite the Ten Commandments not being explicitly mentioned in the Qur'an they are substantially similar to the following verses in the Qur'an (using Jewish numbering of the Commandments):

"There is no other god beside God."(47:19)
"My Lord, make this a peaceful land, and protect me and my children from worshiping idols." (14:35)
"Do not subject God's name to your casual swearing, that you may appear righteous, pious, or to attain credibility among the people." (2:224)
"O you who believe, when the Congregational Prayer (Salat Al-Jumu`ah) is announced on Friday, you shall hasten to the commemoration of GOD, and drop all business." (62:9)
The Sabbath was relinquished with the revelation of the Quran. Muslims are told in the Quran that the Sabbath was only decreed for the Jews. (16:124) God, however, ordered Muslims to make every effort and drop all businesses to attend the congregational (Friday) prayer. The Submitters may tend to their business during the rest of the day.
"....and your parents shall be honoured. As long as one or both of them live, you shall never (even) say to them, "Uff" (the slightest gesture of annoyance), nor shall you shout at them; you shall treat them amicably." (17:23)
"....anyone who murders any person who had not committed murder or horrendous crimes, it shall be as if he murdered all the people." (5:32)
"You shall not commit adultery; it is a gross sin, and an evil behaviour." (17:32)
"The thief, male or female, you shall mark their hands as a punishment for their crime, and to serve as an example from God. God is Almighty, Most Wise." (5:38 - 39)
"Do not withhold any testimony by concealing what you had witnessed. Anyone who withholds a testimony is sinful at heart." (2:283)
"And do not covet what we bestowed upon any other people. Such are temporary ornaments of this life, whereby we put them to the test. What your Lord provides for you is far better, and everlasting." (20:131)

I'm still working on the original ten.

If the day ever comes when I master those, then I'll think about adding others. Or writing my own. So far, they have proved pretty good.

The ones in the Holy Bible are quite enough for me to deal with without me trying to invent more

The first ten are good but I would add a few.

Do not complain about how sick you are.
Do not give me a lot of bull.
Do not say you love me but you would rather be with another guy.
do not give me your word and tell me a lie two days later.

I hate liars.
