Yes it is and it's a shame, and i guess i'm to blame too, i can relate to older man and younger woman, but not the other way round.

Of-course there is different standards to every relationship,for starters you have 2 different people with different lifestyles and habits.
With age difference,you will have the one who has more life experience as appose to the one who is younger who has had a lot less,and a much different view of the world.
I will state as long as they are both legally mature as well as mature enough to cope and guide each other then there should be no problem.
As long as the elder allows the young to learn and not dictate and the young has the sense to think the older partner has some experience and know how,and both work together and share these thoughts and ideas to work together as a couple.

Yes because if you are a guy dating a much younger girl you look like a perv but a older female dating a younger guy makes the guy look like a stud and the women look like she must be something special to get a much younger guy.

I think think there is some kind of standard- younger guys/ older women. However, the older you get, the less you care what others think.:) I didn't mean that smart-mouthed in anyway- I just mean- less surprises me or I don't care what people do, as I get older.

Absolutely, I am married to a man 16 years older than me and my family lost it, but my mom was married to a man 10 years younger that her, So it seems more acceptable for a younger man to be with and older woman.
Course, I will take my older man any day.

Absolutely. Especially when the age gap can be measured in decades.
Younger women dating older guys are looked at as being gold diggers or having a father complex. And the guy is looked at as one lucky SoB.
Younger men dating older women are looked upon as being twisted. And the woman is looked at as a cradle robber.

Yes, I think older men are considered virile if they date or marry younger women, but older women are considered pathetic if they date or marry younger men.

i prefer the older men with younger women. but the age difference is KEY. like how many years.
older women with younger men usually just want sex and if they go for younger guys then usually they can get it.
older men know what they want. thats very attractive.

The standard should always be unconditional love. If they live this type of love, nothing can hinder their relationship whether age or race, but a lot of times people let their mind do the leading instead of their heart and relationships fail but if love leads them, their relationship and home shall never experience defeat...
