Why can't I use The old Security for PC that AT&T had

you dont have to use norton but you cant use the old security tool either. they stoped offering it for free. so unless you want to pay for another one you will have to settle for norton. I personaly have declined there free offer as Norton hogs too much RAM. you can go to CA Accotiates and get the old tool. it is trial and then need to pay. its all in what you want to use. good luck

You can run any security you want. I use the one provided by by my Internet provider. But be sure you are using one that works hard to stay up to date. Because hackers work 24/7 to try to mess with your computer.

You don't. But you do need to run current security software.
