that when babies are teething, they cry? I always thought that it was because they were in pain but I was informed seperately by a doc adn a health visior that they don't feel any pain as there are no nerve endings. Has anyone else heards this?

Umm.....when my son cut his teeth his gums bled, and he screamed like he was dying, so....needless to say, I don't believe that. And if they don't feel it how come they stop cying when you give them oragel?

That is ridiculous! I would find a different doctor!

When I got my wisdom tooth my son's first tooth came in at the same time. lol We were miserable company... Man it hurts like a b****!

I'm sure the whole time you were looking at that doctor and is health adviser you were thinking,"You're douche bags." I probably would've asked the doctor,"Would YOU get your tooth pulled without getting numbed first." Then I would mention that there are baby orajels and such for the obvious reason of teething pain.

There is pain. Did your wisdom teeth ever grow in? If so then you know what kind of pain they are feeling. If not then you are very lucky. It IS painful. Whoever told you that is misinformed.
