Me, personally? I feel that if you truly love someone, then you could go your entire life enjoying being with them and never touching them at all.
For all of you that gave me a thumbs down, I have a question of my own.
If your spouse were involved in an accident or suffered from an illness that prevented them from having any sexual activity whatsoever, would you leave them or support them?

On a scale of 1 to 10 I think men would put sex at a 9 or even 10 and woman would put it at a 6 or 7.

I'm a woman, and sex is VERY important. I with the men here. I kind of need it like water. It's the glue that holds a relationship together. No matter how pissed you are at each other, you can still have mind blowing sex. If you don't have the sex, or are not sexually compatible, then the relationship will dissipate. Just my opinion.

VERY! The bible talks about not being apart too long, because it gives room for the devil (cheating). It is wrong to deny your husband if you are not ill. It keeps your bond strong.
Is it more important to a man?, well I think in most relationships. But for me, it's just as important to me. It's a stress relief for me too, and I have enjoyed it for 14 years now with the same and only man I have ever been with. Thank God he snuck and read his parents "Joy of Sex" book, he learned a lot of nice things.
It's one of the best perks of marriage for me, I just keep thinking this has to be wrong, because it feels so good. Did I say too much.

no i think we both value it the same. it's important because it makes you feel like the person knows you inside and out. i think if a person has a problem that can be frustrating but if they show signs of wanting and trying to improve that should make a difference but im not really sure because im a virgin but it's just my opinion. my psychology teacher once said sex is what keeps a guy there...i know that sounds very sallow but he didn't mean it like that.

Its important to be able to express your love for one another which usually means sex but its not the most important thing in a relationship. I think in general, though dependant upon the individual, men do consider sex more important,I agree with you there...

SEX is important in a relationship but not the most important and I don't think my fiance values that more than or other common interests in our relationship

That all depends on the persons involved in the relationship. I've had relationships with two completely different women. One regarded sex as a necessary evil to being in a relationship. The other could hardly get enough and regarded sex as one of the most essential aspects of the relationship.

I don't think it's as important anymore now that I'm older and my hormones aren't as wild as what they were. I'm serious I had sex with alot of girls in my younger years but for the past couple of years I have been feel a little diprived and the sexual tendicies aren't so much there anymore. So it's not that important for me as it seems to be with most people round my age.

it depends on the Man, it depends on the Woman...I've seen it go either direction (man wants more or woman wants more)...but it still IS a core part of a relationship as part of the whole intimacy and sharing thing. Each person is different and you could be so lucky as to find a person who matches your desires as you can match theirs. If you don't exactly match, then work on it together.

I think it's important. But we all have different values. A lot of people, mostly men are sex addicts. In other words it rules their life and or causes problems in some way in general. When anything dictates how you behave it is an addiction in my experience.
