Silly you need to splice them to the ignition wires so they turn on when you fire up why your switch isnt working is because and this is OBVIOUS you have wired incorrectly

The ground wire should be hooked to a metal part on the body. Never hook it into the hot side. The hot wire should be connected to a hot wire, try the cigarette lighter circuit. Run a wire from the cigarette lighter to a switch, then from the other side of the switch to the hot wire on the neons. If it still blows a fuse then you have too many neons hooked together or you have crossed wires when you were wiring up the neons.

good luck.

Forget the ignition switch, take the positive wire and run it to a switch, run another wire to the battery of the car. The second earth wire can then be run to a good earth source.
Use the switch to turn the lights on and off when needed.

properly all switchs are distinctive yet you prefer the floor cord related to even though pin is the floor one. rather in basic terms connect the important ability then attempt to verify out. in basic terms touch the pin with the flexibility and floor cord. If this is clever? this is all trial and blunder fairly. i could no longer permit you be attentive to what pins are which inspite of the undeniable fact that because of the fact each swap is distinctive as each producer places the pins in distinctive orders. The switchs I fairly have, have 5 pins on the decrease back and that i in basic terms had to objective till i got here upon the wonderful ones. hopefully this enables in a fashion.
