It depends. If they have stuff to do that day and they are procrastinating by sleeping in or if they knew they should have gone to bed earlier but stayed up anyway, yes, I would call them lazy.(Myself not excluded. I really have to work on this.) But if they had to stay up late or they're sick or it's a Saturday morning, no.

Though I work six days a week, I'm the first one to admit I am lazy. I sleep until 11am on my day off and am quite content to be a couch potato.

No, when I am not at work, I am usually home sleeping. I love to sleep. Some people just need more sleep then others.

that's completely subjective, it depends on why they're sleeping in, what kind of work they do, medical problems that make them sleep longer, like insomia, etc,. I think if they go to work/school, live their life, and on the weekends want to sleep in, then no...if someone doesn't work/school and sleeps in all the time and does nothing, then yes, but not because they sleep in, but because they aren't productive any other time.

No because they stay up later at night so they are getting the same sleep as anyone else

I little bit...personally, I think that you waste time by sleeping for leisure...opportunities pass buecause time stops for no one...yes, they are lazy, they need something to keep them busy...what's their reason for living then?

No, it could be a sign of something being wrong. It could be that they may be on medication, and can't help them self. It does cause you to relax a lot more.
