A trapezium, more popularly known as a trapezoid, can have a right angle but most of the time does not.

A regular trapezium has two sides parallel and no right angles. It looks like a pyramid with the top cut off.

a) With a right angle:

b)Without right angle:

angle A=angle C
angle B=angle D
!angle A not equal to angle D or B

it could have a right angle or not have one but it always has a pair of parallel sides
