I am aware that since 1973 the home games are only blacked out if the game is not sold out. But, I recently discovered that before this home games were blacked out in the local TV market even if the game was sold out. Even the 1958 NFL chanpionship game was blacked out in New York. I am just trying to figure out WHY would they do this, if the games were sold out?

The answer is tey wanted the games blacked out to ensure they would have sell out games in the future.
If they had telavised the games with a sold out crowd some of that same crowd would have just sit around the next year to watch a free game,it's all about money!

Yeah for the main section, relies upon. oftentimes this is in basic terms homestead video games that are blacked out, so which you will see them play oppents away. yet; in jacksonville our season is fairly plenty blacked out and final 365 days there have been some video games too, and that i think that different video games got here on as quickly as and one time it become in basic terms stupid shows. so it relies upon if the locals can handle to pay for to instruct yet another group.
