They're called...
Jugheads...
They can't "foresee" disaster, because their "extrapolative" and "intuitive" skills are lacking...they can't "deduce" or "see" the natural progression of their actions...I have several friends like that, and they seem like morons to me...

You must be clairvoyant .... you see there was some hydrogen molecules hanging around in a cyclotron & I told them to move or they would undergo a horrid life changing experience. ... Oh initially how they laughed at me and kept on playing their light gaseous games. Very soon a HUGE Oxygen molecule came around the bend at supersonic speeds and slammed into two of them ..... as things settled the two Hydrogens fell to the floor forever combined with the oxygen as water .......I know it gives you the shivers ....but I kid you not.... it's happened before & it'll happen again.
