I had it all figured out when I was fourteen. I knew everything and no one knew about life the way I did. I was the smartest and wisest person on the planet. When I turned 18 and joined the Navy, I learned I wasn't the smartest person on Earth because I met many people who knew alot more than me and I learned that my parents really were wiser.

Reading voraciously and learning from others brought me to a new level of understanding and at 24, I knew everything. That all changed when I became a father at age 25 and learned that I didn't know diddley squat.

Since that time, I've received quick glimpses of a miniscule part of what it's all about. After 50 years of living, I can only figure that life is simply about living.

"Life. What is it? You wake up one day and there you are."

Every single time I think I finally have figure out life.. I discover that I havent, something always change the pattern and makes it impossible for me to understand again. So I think one never gets to figure out life at all.. Nothing ever stays the same.. its all constant movement, including ourselves. I very much appreciate that inconstancy though, even if its not meant to be understood. Life is life, try to live it as best as you can, it will never be a certain age where you finally went from dont figuring out life to finally get it.. we are all process..

Life is not something that you figure out - life is not a mathematical equation or even a philosophical equation.

Every life is different and every person has to find his own way in life. It's a never ending journey because there is always something to learn.

I will be 55 on November 15.

by no capacity, and that i'm kinda happy. existence is an journey that keeps you on your feet. in case you are able to determine existence then the journey is over. undergo in techniques that learn out of your errors or you're bond to repeat them. Love is judged not on the way you love however the way you're enjoyed by utilising others, there is not something greater important than family contributors, tell those you love which you love them on an widespread basis, there is undesirable in the international so observe, be real to your self, and maximum of all have self assurance each thing occurs for a reason.

My eyes got opened when I was 17, and I'm still trying to figure out life. I've figured myself out, though.

Still searching.

I think philosophy doesn't so much give you the answers as helps you understand the questions.

I went to philosophy to find out what to think, and instead I found out how to think.

As Kierkegaard said, life has to be lived forward, but can only be understood backward.
