Depends on the type of worm, I believe. A nematode (roundworm, e.g. the type of worm you worm your dog for), reproduces sexually and the young are larvae. If you're talking about a roundworm, which is an annelid (segmented worm, also includes leeches) then they produce fully formed worms (earthworms are hermaphrodites), and I don't know.

They wouldn't be larvae, as "larva" is used to describe part of an indirect development (it changes along the way, e.g. caterpillars and butterflies).

That would depend on the type of worm, I believe. Some worms produce sexually, some are hermaphrodites and reproduce asexually and some reproduce by budding. I was not aware, however, that a baby worm had a specific terminology to describe it. Do you remember what species of worm this refers to?

He's 10 they're probably just his friends. Stop reading too much into it, if they are those kind of calls why does your son give out your number and think this is okay? Take some responsibility and show the boy some morals instead of coming to Yahoo talking nonsense, how old are you? 15? Acting like a child.
