Go and get a gun permit first and then go to a legitimate place to buy one.

It would depend on the laws of your state. You can find states that can legally sell you a used hand gun, but then you couldn't bring it back to where you live, unless you could buy it there in the first place.

Try a gun show. They usually have a variety of weapons, old and new. Just make sure you have the appropriate licenses and such or you're not getting jack.

And what would little old you WANT and DO with a "cheap" handgun.......by the way.....a "cheap" handgun kills people just as dead as a brand new expensive one......think twice.....
