After meeting her, all of his friends had proclaimed She Loves You. I Wonder If I Care As Much, he wondered for a mere second. Then knew that he did, as much and more.
They had first met at a military event. In a simple dress of white with silver trim, she stood out like a bright light amid the gaudy red and severe attired young women. Her outfit complimented the Navy Blue and Gold badged dress of the enlisted men. She was no Party Doll, The Twist, she was the party princess, the pulse of the night. Her beauty and energy transmitted Good Vibrations to all and throughout the night. It was at this event, this very first meeting that his life began to change. Gone were the rigid rules, the myriads of goals which were to be accomplished before breathing. He knew then, no waiting to conquer the whole world before embracing love. He thought, when my I return from overseas, That'll Be The Day I'll ask her to marry me. A year and 6 months later, down on one knee , with ring in hand he did ask her to marry him and awaited the expected reply. Can't You Feel My Heartbeat, he silently asked as the wait becme uncomfortably long. For When A Man Loves A Woman, can't keep his mind on nothing else. There's no time, no space, no up, no down, no paragraphing......Suddenly a voice cut through our cliched thoughts, the protaganist and......Oh I must introduce myself, I'm the omnipotent participant in this story, hence, our thoughts, I t was the voice of despair and doom, for him, the protaganist. Not for me, I couldn't care less, it is just my fate to be omnipotent and to be in this story. Peggy Sue spoke softly (forgot to mention earlier, her name is Peggy Sue) The protaganist shall remained unnamed. Back to the now named Peggy Sue, who spoke softly, but unfalteringly, "I'm sorry I can't marry you. Remember when we first met at the Navy dance. You came with a friend. You were probably the only Army guy there, but still I was attracted to you. But my father is a Navy man, his father before him, my brother, my mother and me, all Navy men. And as the big game nears, I realize it would never work out.
By the way......Go Navy! Beat Army!

Most of the time (4) when a man loves a woman, he is able to overlook things he doesn't like about her. But when I asked her what her favorite colors were and she replied (10) "Navy Blue and Gold...By the way, GO NAVY!! BEAT ARMY!!!" that was just too much. (1) I wonder if I care as much about her as I thought. Fall in love with a Navy fan? Me? Hah (5) That'll be the day. Then I thought, "But (9) "She Loves You." But when I thought to myself (8) "Can't you hear my heartbeat when the play the Army song?" I knew the answer to that was No, she can't.

So I left her there with her Navy friends and their stupid goat. I was a little disappointed but took satisfaction in knowing that the Army bulldog would be getting their goat before long.

I wonder If i care as much when peggy sue asked out my boyfriend, i mean we had good vibrations and when a man loves a woman he doesn't leaver her. well when he comes back to forgive me that'll be the day until then ima be a party doll and do the twist. I decided to go to a club, it was so loud the song Can't you hear my heartbeat was on I love this song! after that it was she loves you, this song got me thinking to much and i went home. when i got home on my door step there was a navy blue and gold package, on the package it said APRIL FOOLS! i can't believe you fell for the prank we did on , i can't believe u would actually believe that i would ask out ur boyfriend and he would say yes! we're just playing with you. Love ur boyfriend and peggy Sue. I put my head back and laughed i love my friends.

I wonder if i care as much as Peggy Sue.
She is such a talented girl and i am just a miserable guy here out in the world with nobody.
but i must say Peggy Sue brings good vibrations, when I'm with her i forget about the world the bad the evil my work my disemplyoment, my bills absolutely everything, all i care is about her voice, it hits my soul i must know if she is an angel.
What can i say When a man Loves a woman its the book that never ends the intrigue the suspense but most of it its the romance. I say to myself when i marry Peggy Sue That'll be the Day the day that alll these years was worth waiting. All the hours, just to have her in my arms.
I must say the day i met her she was just like she is now a Party Doll, dancing all through the night and the day too. She still a good dancer but when i saw her she was the best at The twist, the best i tell you she, roked the party. I fell in love with her dancing and her talent but also with her words,her hair. I love everything about her, but she would never love me the way i love her.I Love her with passion and with all my heart and soul.
Oh, Peggy can't you hear my heartbeat. so rapidly when im near you, and faster when im away, but i know that what your friend told me is not true it cant be or am i refusing to accept what i want?

Her eyes were beautiful they shone, they glimmered like diamonds. As the music slowed down and the lights dimmed, the music changed it became calm and romantic.
Now Peggy and Jack closer together, their lips almost touching. They kiss. Jacks heart beats fast. thump thump thump thump. like a clock on an on he can hardly belive it. It wasn't a dream she is kissing me. yes she does love me. She is mine!!
My heart happy until today, full of joy happines nobody can take away but her.

“Enough is enough,” I thought. “it’s time I head for home. Chester said that if I’m away much longer he wouldn’t be surprised if PEGGY SUEd me for divorce.
The first time I saw my wife was at the Texas Chili cookoff PARTY. DOLLars were flowing as bets were laid as to who had the hottest dish. I remember her entry. She used a combination of Scotch bonnet and habanero peppers. She said, in a prepared speech that the secret to her dish was in THE TWIST of lemon added at the last moment. I went into shock when I tasted her concoction. It must have rated almost 1,000.000 SHU (Scoville units). My perspiration increased, as did my heartrate. I called out for help, as my heart exploded in my chest. She didn’t answer. Again I cried, and again. “CAN’T YOU HEAR? MY HEARTBEAT is over 200/minute.” Just before I slipped into unconsciousness, I realized she was deaf.

I came to in the hospital tent, woken by a mild earthquake rumbling through the community. At first I thought it was the bed. Those were GOOD VIBRATIONS, as I recall. The nurse came to my side telling me that Peggy had seen me collapse and brought me in for treatment. “SHE LOVES YOUr sense of adventure.” the nurse said.

I blushed. “She’s as hot as her chili! WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN’s cooking, he might just as well buy the ring, and book the preacher, because THAT’LL BE THE DAY, he is hooked.

“It’s been a long time since I’ve tasted her cooking” I thought, once again focusing my mind on the journey before me. “I WONDER IF I CARE AS MUCH about her cooking as I used to? .... I got into my car and headed south, only pausing momentarily as I passed the headquarters of the Iowa NAVY. BLUE AND GOLD banners hung from the Cow Palace commemorating their 50th year of trying to raise enough money to buy their first boat. ...but that’s another story.
