The Steelers have the #1 Defense in the NFL.
They are only giving up 12 points and 237 yards per game at mid season.
Ben Roethlisberger is the 2nd highest rated QB in the NFL with a 111.9 rating, behind only Tom Brady and is also 2nd in the NFL behind Brady in TD passes with 20.
TE Heath Miller is averging 13.5 yards per catch with 5 TDs, WR Hines Ward is a future Hall of Famer and Santonio Holmes is avering 18 yards per catch with 6 TDs.
Willie Parker leads the AFC and is 2nd in the NFL in rushing.
Statisticly speaking, if they keep at this pace, the Steelers will be the best team the Pats have to face, even better than the Colts.
If, unlike Indy, the Steelers are full strength, then Safety Rodney Harrison will not be able to cover Heath Miller as he did Dallas Clark.
They will have to use an old linebacker which is what Indy was hoping for had Marvin Harrison been there.
I'm sure Fast Willie is praying he gets the same holes that Addai got.

This is up to Dick Lebeau. If the Steelers can put Brady on his as.s several times yes. If the Patriots pick up their blitzes than no. Steelers have the best chance out of any team to spoil their season.

As a New England fan i said it all along that the only team that could give the Pats a scare would be the Steelers
Dick Lebeau's 3-4 defense they disquise their Blitzes like the Pats if not better ...i think the Pats have the home field edge
this will not be a double digit spread game ..it will be a smash mouth football game who ever survives the battle in the trenches will come out on top .

Not only do they have a chance, I expect the Steelers to win that game. I am a firm believer that a great offense wins games, but a great defense wins championships. The Steelers are really jelling right now and the defense is unbelievable, just ask the Ravens. I look for the Steelers to win the Superbowl for a record 6th time this year.

Yes i do,the Steelers if they are playing good and healthy they can upset the Pats.Dallas has had a good run at beating teams with injured defenses all year otherwise i think Dallas would be 4 and 4.The only team Dallas has played with a healthy defense and offense was the Pats.So go Steelers .Good Luck

Yes, they have a chance. The Pats will be coming off a monday night game, so they'll be less rested and prepared than the steelers.

But, the Pats will rise to the occasion, as they're on a mission. Tom Brady won't accept defeat, it's not going to happen.

The Pats have to watch out for the Bills!

Yes, they have an excellent defense!!! They are the only team who's allowed fewer than 100 pts this season. In addition, they have just enough offense with Big Ben in control. If the steelers don't do it, its up to the colts or the Giants!

I think that the Steelers will be the best defense that the Pats face all season. It should be a really good game.

Pitt is an under rated team with many talents, great D great back recievers,a and QB But i am sorry to say that They are beat compared to the newly arrisen talents of NE, They just have too much talent and too young of it. Tom Brady and Randy moss Both number 1 in their position, Wes Welker Amazing talent, Ben Watson, Dante Stallworth Number 1 Deff, i believe it will be a good first half but NE will prevail in the second .

i think they have a chance if the league will start urging the referees to call offensive holding. it is a sham the "protection" that the pats offensive line gives tom brady. the ends are always hooking their guys
