does it matter if the person has been convicted of a felony in the USA?

why would it be a problem to get across ? does canda acknowledge usa convictions? are their legal systems linked. does it make a difference if im a us citizen?

Getting married is no problem, but getting across the border with a felony conviction likely will be. It would not be a good idea to make very elaborate wedding plans until your sure the person can get into Canada.

I think you could get married but you may have trouble crossing the border.

We just got married in Niagara and we are both British and had no prob what so ever.
