Oregon looks nice. I've never been there but have seen it on the show Little People, Big World, featuring the Roloff family. It looks beautiful. I've been through Montana as well and it was gorgeous there!

Try the Hill Country of texas. It is in Central Texas (San Antonio, Austin, etc) Lots of fairly large towns, lots of small towns.

Almost every state has this to offer.

We were in Tennessee in the summer, beautiful, N.C., beautiful, North east corner of Georgia, beautiful.

All states have amazing areas, you just have to find the one to fit you.

Outside of Portland, Oregon is just like that. So is Eugene, Oregon- you just have to like rain as well.
