Airlines used to serve a fairly good, small meal. Those days are gone. You have to buy your meals now. There is a snack box for $5 and sandwiches for $7. I flew across the country last month.

I'm not saying I would eat it on a regular basis (unless I married an attendand who brought it home free) but considering your options up there, what else are you going to do?

I would like more chocolate and less coffee.

The thing that irritates me are the hot towels. Is that supposed to simulate luxury? Take the storage space for the hot towels and give it back to us in leg room. All I need is 1 more cm and I'd be fine.

Appallingly terrible.....but last summer on Aegean Air I ate a wonderful mousaka. Really, I did. (I know it's hard to believe.) Even my mom liked it, and she is a harsh judge of Greek food, and never eats any airline food. But she ate that!

I don't mind Cathay Pacific's and their costumer care is better than any other planes I'd traveled on so far. Only a very few of their foods and drinks are not for free.

One time I was flying from Barcelona to Milan and I opened my bag to take a sandwich with bacon and eggs I had made at home and everybody was looking nasty and then the hostess came and very politely told me not to do such things. I reached Milan very angry and very hungry too. Because I did not eat the food they gave me - I was angry.

Tastes like elementary cafeteria food, without enough elbow room to attempt to cut the mystery meat!

Most of it I wouldn't feed to a possum! Icelandic Air has the best. It's almost edible.
