Don't ever download anything. They may SAY it's safe, and others may have used it, but wouldn't it suck if you were to get a virus on your computer?

Something similar happened to me. Somehow I lost all the data in my computer and had to restore it. Anyways, I was looking on the internet on how to put the music on my ipod back in my computer, and I found just what I needed.Go to www.ipod2computer.com. Clic on free download and once you install it on your computer, plug the ipod to the pc and the program will transfer all your ipod files to your computer. Except for photos.

i think you just plug it in and itunes will update.
