Call a tow truck company. They go through the top of the door with a special tool they have just for that and unlock it for you. It cost $40 for that.

Cheapest way is to get the VIN number for the car (it's on your insurance card or top of the dash...drivers side as you're looking through the windshield from outside) then go to a Chevy dealer parts dept and they can cut a new key from that info. You may have to show proof of ownership like the title and maybe some form of ID like a drivers license. Only other ways are a locksmith...usually run around 40-50.00 or in some towns , the fire dept will do it if it's not too hard.

If you have AAA, it's free (up to 3 service calls a year). Expect to pay at least $40 here in Houston. Maybe more or less depending where you are.

You need to call a locksmith, due to liability reasons, police will only open a door if a small child is inside who cannot unlock the door themselves.

CHECK YOUR AUTO INSURANCE POLICY BECAUSE A LOT OF THEM WILL DO THIS FOR FREE IF YOU HAVE TOWING AND RENTAL.
