As we've seen, the answer is obvious --photos, videos, HEROES -- though I believe you WILL find "heros" as an alternative in some dictionaries. And you will find the same for a great many other final-o words (that is, that BOTH -os and -oes are accepted, though one of them may be preferred).
But no one has made any suggestion as to WHY this one is different?
A quick observation on that --
"photo" as an abbreviated form of "photograph", and "video" are both very RECENT words. So when people began to form the plurals they used the simplest way we have of forming plurals - just add an "s"
"Hero" on the other hand, is a much older English word, and the standard way of forming its plural was established in a much earlier era. (I think the reason is that the form "heros" LOOKS like it is a Greek word that ought to be pronounced "HAIR-ross". That classical concern no longer had the same strong affect on our language by the time "photo" came round.)
For what its worth, compare "zero", for which "zeros" and "zeroes" are BOTH acceptable plural forms. The one with e is original, but without it has probably become more common [as YahooAnswers spell-check suggests to me!].
By the way, when you start looking at all the words whose plurals CAN be formed as EITHER -oes OR -os, 'photos" and "videos" stand out MORE, because they CANNOT use the "-oes" form. (That might look especially strange for the latter -- "videoes"?? In fact, there is NO word with final -eo that forms its plural in any way other than simply adding the s. Compare "mimeos", "rodeos".)

Photos (though correct English would be Photographs)
Heroes
Videos
I'd say Heroes was the odd one out, coz the others are made plural just by adding an s while Hero takes an es.

photo - photos
hero - heroes
video - videos
if we're talking about plural nouns, then the odd one here is hero because we have to add 'es' to make it plural. At the same time, hero refers to person while photo and video refer to things...

Photos is the odd one because how the heck do you explain P+H=F?
OR: Heroes is the odd one because there are photos and videos are everywhere, but there are so few heroes.
OR: Videos is the odd one because have you seen MTV in the last 10 years?

heroes is the odd one out because in order to pluralize it, you have to suffix -es unlike photos and videos which were only added -s.
