Which brand has thick and good winter jacket in the states?
We in sweden have Peak Performe, Fjäll Räven and Everest.

Columbia is a good brand. Have one myself. You can use it for other seasons too. It is usually a two piece ensemble that can be separated. If you are looking to rate one, go to the Consumer's Report website. They are an impartial judge as to quality, value, and usability of products. All they do is test products and inform consumers which ones are the best.
