I am 17 turning 18 soon and in my last year of highschool. I was a late bloomer I guess you could call it and hit puberty at an older age than my fellow classmates. I am wondering why i'm feeling like this. I don't have a boyfriend and am a virgin but why do I never have any feeling down there? I think I used to a bit but now there is nothing...Maybe I just need to have a boyfriend to feel this? I just not sure..

I wouldn't just take peoples advice... a lot of people love to give BAD advice.. Honestly, wouldn't worry much about it, don't try to force yourself into it by getting a boyfriend just to make you all warm and fuzzy in a certain area. When the time comes it will hit you. You are turning 18, so big deal... nothing wrong with being a virgin. I would wait until after your first sexual encounter, and one that is done just to get laid, but your first real one, then you might change. Remember also that most women don't hit a sexual peak until 40 or so.

It's like firewood in a fire place you'll never feel the heat until you put some lighter fluid on and start the fire. In other words you have nothing to compare to if you've never done it. If you really want to feel something I'd suggest u letting a guy go down or you or getting some toys to play with if you don't think you're ready for sex. Normally Id say just have sex with whoever and just be safe and use protection but if you've waited that long you might as well find someone a little more special than the average F'er

Most people would not ask their doctor this.
Too bad, because most doctors would know.
It is perfectly healthy and normal for people to have different levels of sex drive, even among just females. I would not worry about it. There is really no point to have sex unless you are trying to make a baby WITH YOUR HUSBAND.
So you do not NEED a boyfriend and have sex without being married and possibly bring another baby without a father into this world just to see if your parts are working. That would be really stupid. Don't you think your baby deserves a Mommy AND a Daddy?
Also, have you tried msaturbating? The key for a woman to have great sex with her husband is for her to know her own body herself.
Contrary to what they admit, men wish women came with instructions as to what pleases them sexually. YOU CAN come with instructions (no pun intended) - just tell your husband what you prefer! But you CAN'T if you DON'T KNOW YOURSELF.
But, please, there are not enough 18 year old virgins. My best friend (male) was a virgin at 17 and he has sex with anything that walks and talks, prolly with thousands of women by now. I think it a terrible way to live, never really loving anyone.
Now, go do the right thing.

It's time to experiment with it to see what feelings you actually DO have down there. If you don't want to then don't worry too much about it. You feelings are normal to you. There are adults you can trust and talk to about this. Just don't something you are not ready for. It will happen in time. Trust me.
My suggestion is, explore your body and find out what you actually do feel and feels good to you.

People mature at different rates. Besides, I never felt much "down there" at any age - what I was feeling was mostly emotional. Even if you were a male, I wouldn't worry too much (though males are usually surging with testosterone by that age). You sound o.k. to me, and your parents are blessed.

There shouldn't be feelings down there until you are in a loving relationship with someone. Then, there will be lots of "feelings". Make your life productive, finish your education and go on to college and one day, that special someone will come into your life.

Nothing is wrong with you...you just haven't met that special person who makes you tingle. Don't worry and don't rush it, there's plenty of time for romance later.
Do not ever judge your life by what others are doing.

You should see a doctor. He/she will be able to help, so you don't spend your whole life missing out on the joys of sex.
Perhaps you're not attracted to boys, so be open and willing to explore other options.
By the way, you're not too young.
