That's really a personal issue that's related as much to health as numbers on a scale. The so-called "perfect" weight for women is 100 lbs for the first 5 feet and then 5 lbs for each inch. That would say that you should weigh 105 lbs, but that sounds way too low for someone who presently weighs what you do--genetics has a large part to play. You're doing really good, so stick with what you're doing and when you reach the weight and look you like, you'll have lost as much as you "should."

I am 5'1 and I weigh about 120 but I am not skinny about a size 4. Don't try to lose a specific amount of weight maybe set little goals like 10 lbs increments so that you don't set yourself up for failure

well i'm using a BMI calculator (body mass index) and for your stats your BMI is 28.3, overweight for your height...anyway, to bring you down to a healthy BMI which would be between 110 - 130 so i would say about 120 pounds. I would work towards losing 31 more pounds but make sure you're loosing it in a healthy way :)

I don't think you should focus on a specific weight, but on either a dress size, or simply stop when you think you look good! choosing a goal weight is too target- driven, and won't necessarily lead you to the body you want.
as for losing ten pounds- well done!

Don't let someone give you a weight you should be at. Just keep loosing until you are happy with what you look and feel like. You should be proud of your self, loosing weight is no easy task. Good luck!

10 Pounds is excellent! Good Job! If you feel the need to lose more weight, then stay on that diet and keep exercising!

That is a question best answered by your Doctor. He can tell you what a HEALTHY weight for you is and then you can shoot for that as a goal by diet and exercise.

The primary goal of weight loss is for health. Consider also working on your self esteem during this period.

Good luck, and remember, stay healthy, too much weight loss or feelings of no self worth are not good.
