it was after my teen neighbors had a small party on their deck. all the eggs thrown was on the side of where their party was too. they threw it all on the fire escape door for the basement. what kind of kids get pleasure out of defacing a stranger's property with gross crap that gets spoiled and attracts bugs and maggots in the backyard? lol plus i have 2 dogs who are in the backkyard most of the time.
maybe it's a racism? they're all white and my family is asian. im 20 and my sisters are teenagers. eh. =( i cant shake it off. we never did anything to them. my dad doesnt want a fence. i keep telling im over-reacting. but im bi-polar and i change my mind about things a lot and get emotional when i shouldnt. heh.
the indian neighbors across the street, had their back windows broken from strangers throwing rocks. our suburban neighborhood is pretty up-scale.

I wouldn't take it personally, our neighborhood just went through something like that during homecoming week, we live very close to the high school and we are white. If you know who did the damage you can go ask them to clean it up or fix what they have broken. If you have a homeowner's association you can also go to them or if there is any real damage call the police. We had a neighbor a few blocks away that had really got it bad. Not just the standard shaving cream, toilet paper and eggs, he had a washer, dryer and old toilet out on his lawn...very gross! But the kids thought it was funny and I guess there is a big thing going on with the seniors and juniors at this high school. Oh and BTW the house that got all the old appliances...they were white.

If I was you, I would have called the cops and reported this because it is illegal for them to have done what they did, even though it doesn't seem that bad since it was just eggs. If you don't want to do that, at least go to your neighbor's house and talk to the parent who was there when the party was going on and tell them about what happened and ask for them to keep a better eye on what they're doing so they won't get into trouble.

I would walk right up to the house, knock on the door and tell them that if they ever harm my property again, I will be calling the police. Next big party, try to have a lookout and a camera ready.

Yes, take it personally, you're a citizen and you have the right to protect your properties.
Take a stand and report racism! I too am an Asian receiving racial abuse! Freephone 0800 169 9414 or simply email at info@kickitout.org
Still, act cool and mature and don't show any kind of hatred to them, as that will only worsen the situation.
Good luck!

Kids do stupid things. They don't know what it's like to earn money and own property. One day they will grow up and some kids will egg their property.

Did you call the authorities like the police? You should tell them. Then they can get to the bottom of the problem.

So tell them to come clean it up and then let it go....it's kids and while it's not right....that's the childish behavior exemplified in a lot of teens.
