The other listing is right about the water valve. Its what the house water supply line connects to at the back of the fridge. It has a spring loaded piston called a solenoid that is electrically charged to open when the ice maker calls for the water. It can break and not let water in. Check the ice maker arm too. If the metal arm on the ice maker is slowly moving then the ice maker may be OK. You may also have to pull out the fill tube, this is the white plastic tube that goes through the back of the freezer wall and dumps the water into the ice maker cup to fill the ice maker, it may have some ice build up there if the valve had a slow leak. Good luck. you can call your local parts supplier with the model to get the part numbers for the valve and icemaker.. Good luck.

There is a solenoid that the water line attaches to at your fridge, may be broken. Also had my line get full of ice crystals near the ice maker, worked fine after I cleaned those out.

if this just happen and it was working great before that, sometimes the line just gets frozen, dump hot water into the ice cube tray... but remember to put a towel under it, it can overflow... it may take a few times... if this doesnt work... you need a repairman...
