They are: 1. Who are we. 2. What are we. 3. And why are we here in this world. I bet someone, somewhere, knows these answers intuitively or otherwise, but keeps stocking them away in the corner of his or her mind. Please feed me with some answers. Thanks.

What are we? We are life. The nature of life is to collect energy, reproduce, and defend itself. We are energy eddies.

Who are we? Same question, though perhaps a bit more specific. Put on your anthropologist hat and start listing the commonalities of human form and behavior. That is who we are. We are the sum of our form and behavior.

Why are we here? Well, 'Why' is the request for the Cause of an Effect.
But as soon as we grasp that every effect has a cause, and every cause is an effect. we realize (or suspect) the universe is an infinite sequence of cause and effect. Cause means back in time, Effect means forward.

Which means, much to the amusement of 5 year olds worldwide, that 'Why' can be asked endlessly. AND much to the distress of parents trying to provide this perpetual parade of increasingly ancient history, the answer must eventually be "I don't know"

Of course some people don't want to admit they don’t know so they say "God did it."
& when the kid asks "Why did God do it?" they say "Ask God". And so we wind up in church asking God why OR we listening to some equally implausible scientific pronouncement that the Big Bang came from nothing.

So, did God start it all? I don't know. But I do know that if God exists, no matter how big His stack of Why-Answers, and some point…He doesn't know either.

how about you change the questions to:
1. Who am I?
2. What am I?
3. Why am I in this world?

now that's a good question.

.

1- Universally speaking, we are ultimately "IRRELEVANT" [at least up until such moment that we might be able to freely manipulate, and otherwise exercise Absolute Control over, both space and time]

2- We are the Evolving Self-conscious Substances of The Universe [at least for the foreseeable future]

3- Because The Absolute Nothing (or The Transdimensional) is NOT [ yet! :-) ]

I will start with the third. I believe (i do not know) there is no point to this life of ours. at least in the selfish standpoint. i don't think we are here to be happy or too be successful or content in our lives. i think we are here to progress humanity further, beyond what we can currently imagine simply by doing what we do.
"Who are we?" and "what are we" i find more difficult. of course i could answer with the usual textbook standard answers "we are humans" or "god's children" but i do not believe that. what are we? i sadly cannot answer such a seemingly simple question, I'm sorry.

I don't know, even philosophy professors do not have a definite answers. Who are we? It's case to case basis, we're different from each other. It's the experience and the choices you make that will define you as a person. I bet you and I have different values and virtues we follow. What are we? Homo Sapiens of course! Why are we here? Again, it differs. You create your own purpose as you go through life.

We are God's children. We are eternal entities. We are here in this world to Love.
God created us and placed in our breath of life "a soul", we are His children.
Having a soul we cannot die, a soul once born is eternal, and it cannot be killed. It holds a body, not the other way around like the common man thinks. It is thought that we all have a spirit but we don't; it is the spirit that has a body! The one we have now. One day these bodies will die, in doing so they will give up the ghost. The ghost is our spirits freed from the physical universe.
Having been created by the Holy Ghost, God, we are to love him with all of our heart, all of our mind, all of our soul. Then we are to love our neighbours as we ourselves want to be loved. ( THAT IS NOT EASY) It is a simple reason to exist but do not confuse simple with easy! It is a very difficult thing to love, it is a very difficult thing to want the best for those who hurt you, it is so hard to do. But in doing this we find that our eternity is assured by the Christ in God's presence. Whether you know of the Christ or not, you will live in God's presence by the knowledge the Christ has of each and ever single pagan, Christian or otherwise, the Christ will know. He will answer for those that did the best they could with what little they had, and for the ones who had so much and did as much as they could with all that they have been given.
Now...I'm not getting religious on you here, nor waxing philisophical. As far as I'm concerned philosophy is the wisdom of 'man', this falls short for me, as good as it gets it still falls short of my expectations. Religion? Well that is man's way of worshipping God on man's terms, that doesn't work either! When we go to God we go to Him on His terms, not ours.
His terms involve love of Him first then every one else as well, friend, family or foe. We are to love. This brings me to a question you haven't asked. "Where are we going"?
That depends on your life as you live it here and now.
God bless and take care.
