Your little one apparently has or has had a sinus infection and also has very dry sinuses. While this isn't too serious, he is probably pretty uncomfortable and probably would benefit from a doctor visit. You can put 1 drop of saline drops in each nostril twice a day. You can make them at home (all it is is salt water), but I am not sure off the top of my head the ratio of salt to water - I'd have to ask my wife - or you can look online.
You may have dry air in your home too. A vicks humidifier works wonders especially this time of year. I think Wal-Mart sells them for under 12 dollars.

This is normal ( in small amounts). When the nasal passages, which are very sensistive anyway, get dry, they bleed. As others have mentioned, add in a cool mist vaporizer and that should fix the problem. It is most likely NOT an infection but if the mucous turns green, a cough or congestion develops, make an appt with the doctor.

Good luck@!

Yes it is normal to have blood in your "burgers" (I presume you mean snot, or 'the stuff in your nose').

If there is a lot, though, you should probably see your doctor.

yeah he should be fine, asfaik, a blocked nose is caused by inflamed blood vessels in the nose so a little bleeding isn't unusual.

You need to get some moisture in the air. Put on a vaporiser so he isn't breathing in the dry hot air. This will hydrate the air and he will breath better. Put it in the room that he spends the most time in, (living room, his room, your room). Don't put it right next to him, but so it is in the room.
