I am taking Intra, a food supplement made in Canada. Is it good to take it as prevention for kidney stones to form? Is it also good in balancing blood sugar in our body?
I would like to know from anybody who has similar experience of taking Intra product and I would like to learn how does the product help them in their health problems.

If you are looking for nutritional supplements to help with Diabetes, the green supplement known as "Spirulina" helps stabilize blood glucose, while the mineral "Chromium Picolinate" helps lower BG levels.
Fiber supplements also lower BG.

From their website, they seem to make a number of different products, all containing a blend of various herbs. I can't see how it will help prevent kidney stones or lower blood sugar in a diabetic. Its also really expensive!
For kidney stones, the best preventative is to drink more water, sipping a little a time throughout the day. This dilutes your urine and makes stone formation less likely --- and its free!
To lower blood sugar the best treatment is to lose weight and increase exercise. Recent studies have shown that a lower fat/lower calorie diet so as to lose 15 to 20 pounds along with a 30 minute brisk walk every day is very effective in preventing diabetes. And not only is walking free, if you eat less junk food you will actually save money!

I never heard of this supplement. Kidney stones are formed from a lot of different things. It is bordering on unethical for them to make outrageous claims like this -diabetes and kidney stones too.
