How do i reset the scoreboard in the origonal GTA?

i want to reset it to the defaults can i tweak anything to get it back to normal?

its not really as simple as just reinstalling it. the version you get off the rockstar games site comes with some pretty big high scores already from the start, and also ive been modding the game i want to be able to erase my scores that ive been getting while testing things out. if i could clear those scores before packaging it. that would be great.

I figured it out on my own. i opened up a file called PLAYER_A.DAT and erased all of the information then saved it. that erased all of the scores.

If you're using it on PC, I guess if you uninstall it, then re-install it the defaults will be returned.

If you're using it on PS2, or XBox delete your save game off the memory card or hard drive, that will reset everything.
