If you got to choose a mode of death, and were guaranteed to die by either one or the other, would you rather be shot or thrown out of a plane? I just watched that movie "Lions for Lambs" and that question came up. Getting thrown out of a plane will allow you an extra few minutes to live than getting shot (the fall to the ground).
Personally, I would rather be shot. There is less time to think about it. If I were thrown out of a plane, I'd think I'd get so scared that I'd have a heart attack before I hit the ground.
Which would you rather do, and why?

I'd rather be thrown out of a plane. I like the feeling of falling, and once ya hit the ground, that's it. Nothing. You might not die right away if you get shot and it is probably REALLY painful.

i won't choose either one of them seriously..but if it was a MUST- then i would probably choose being shot! as long as it will be quick and i won't suffer.i think falling from a plane is worse as you get time thinking about it..- that must be scary...especially if your imagination starts kicking through and you imagine it as you fall to the ground...jugg!! and besides- i don't think your organs would be able to take the pressure. i think a vain or something will burst and you will die before getting to the ground..it must be fun to bungee jump for the last time though.. but gee...getting shot- it's so0o0o much easier..and less torture!

I would choose the plane , because then I would have a few moments to remember loved ones and reflect that I was on my way to see my Lord and Savior

Shot. You would feel no pain due to the speed of the bullet, so it would not be "painful" as suggested by one of the above posters.

thrown out of a plane sounds better. you only die once and you cann feel the death to balls to bones!!! and besides, you might enjoy the view!! :))
