I'm doing it by asking that question instead of: "Does your heart break if there's no one there to hear it?". Hearts are like trees, and, for all tonight, at least for tonight, feed it and let it grow for all to hear.

By loving my boyfriend the best way I know how, by letting him sleep since I know he's tired... even though he didn't tell me or kiss me good night. :-( He knows I like a nice shared hug, kiss & I love you before we go to sleep...because you never know if you might not wake up one morning.
...And coming on to Y!Answers so I won't let being bummed about it, bum me out.

By taking my Daughter and her best friend out on the Town tonight. I rarely get the chance to do that anymore because of work, her school and trying to schedule everything thrown my way. I'll be able to feed my heart tonight through my daughters love and it will definitely grow for all to hear. If that's not the answer you were looking for, ''tough''. It's my Heart.

Hi Flutter....
Thats a nice question last night I did not go out the weather was damp and rainy a friend invited me over but wanted to stay home listen to music and write and read...Sometimes I rather be around others when my heart is sad or hurting that helps me always to get a hold on my ownlife and see others and what they go through with the choices they have mase say marriage children etc...it helps me put a prospective on my own life of what I want and what I am looking for in another.......
If I can not be around people I try to do something nice for myself like buy carnations or get my hair done go shopping take a drive and blast my music or rent a movie and watch it by myself :)) These aew ways I feed my heart and keep it strong :))) Oh and I pray to God too always to hear me and he does :)))

funny you should ask. im feeding my heart tonight by visiting yahoo answers and reading questions. sometimes when im looking to feed my heart, i often come here and visit the philosophy and poetry sections. after i've sifted through the junk posts, i find some pretty interesting questions, and even more interesting answers. i find that i am nourished by these Q+As and in turn i grow as a person. when i find someone whos' questions or answers truly inspire me, i add them as a contact so that their contributions will feed my heart again on some other day. ( i added you a while back, and your Q+As are great :D so thanks!)

I am feeding my heart whenever I think of all I have: health, happiness, love, friends, family... the list never ends.
I feed my heart by stopping to take time to just bask in the glow of how wonderful life can be.
I also feed my heart by following it. My heart hasn't always been right, but it's my right and my privilege to go with it, and I am.

Have you ever listened to the saddest sound in the world? It's the sound of a child's heart breaking. If it is your child, you will know what I mean. Her father broke it but she blames me, her mother. I understand that I can't fix everything that's gone wrong in her life. She doesn't understand that. I am feeding my heart on peace of mind instead of giving a piece of it to her.

It's not like the tree in the forest. Hearts hear themselves break. They heal, really they do--just be gentle with their sadness.
Once I was lost....but I feel almost ready to be found...there won't even be a scar on my heart, just a tiny spot of tenderness for what "he" was to me when he was alive.
