Go see your doctor.
My late wife was 38 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer and that was picked up by ultrasound and biopsies.
That said the vast majority of breast 'lumps' have nothing to do with breast cancer. So do not worry unnecessarily, but it is always a good idea to get this checked out.

I would wait. You are very young and don't have too many risk factors (even though your mom had breast cancer, she didn't have it before she was 40). Bottom line is that you are too young for a mammogram since your breast tissue is too dense. So the doctor would have to do an ultrasound to examine the lump.
In a young woman with no risk factors, the lump is most likely due to the bruise, or it could be fibrocystic changes if you are about to begin your period. Either way, waiting a week will not change the outcome. So, give it a week & if the lump is still there, go see your OB/Gyn.

You'll probably have to wait a few days before you can get to see your doctor so your bruise should have calmed down by the time your appointment arrives, but definately make an appointment and go.
If you don't, you'll be living with a constant nagging fear that won't go away until you are checked out.
Chances are it is nothing to worry about - lots of women have cysts, or can have 'lumpy breasts' at certain times of the month.

If you have got the bruise from the hurt then its only natural that the body is healing and a tiny lump has come up, given a few days to heal it should go away and all will be well. Dont think negative and worry that you will get breast cancer cause your mum had it, chances are there but not 100%, so just think positive and dont worry, worry brings stress and diseases and ill health.Be happy and cheerful. Not all lumps in the beast are cancer, so dont worry too much.

Don't wait. See your GP as soon as you can.
I had a similar experience ten years ago and it worked out fine for me. Your lump might not be malignant, and even if it is, early treatment is usually successful. Breast cancer survival rates are improving all the time, but even so, early action is still the best way to improve your chances, so call the surgery now or go to your local NHS Walk-In Centre or A&E right away.
I wish you good health and happiness.

No, don't wait, get an appointment as soon as you can. It is lucky that you got the bruise otherwise you may not have noticed the lump. Good luck.

The general rule with all these things is better safe than sorry. There will be nothing held against you for getting it checked out. It is a good idea to get screened every once in while anyway, so you might as well do it now. As an optimist I will say that it is probably nothing, but your always best to check. Good luck!

Please to put your mind at ease have the lump checked as soon as you can.More then likely the fact you had a knock to that area could be the cause of the lump.Things like this still should be checked out medically so the sooner the better to ease your mind. All the best.

If you have a lump, you have a lump. If your doctor says it's probably nothing, please INSIST that you have it checked out at your local breast clinic. This happened to me and I did have breast cancer. It was three months later that I was sent to the clinic by a different doctor. I was lucky and am now o.k. Please go and be sure to stand up for yourself.
