i think because at the most, especially for men, the more they are being rejected by the girl they want, the more they are challenged to pursue her...
the more she hurts you the more you love her....(???? i guess....)
are you persevering to win her? i hope you do if you really like her... who knows, the tide will turn 180 degrees and she'll like you too coz she knows you really like her....
