I have a very relaxed style, e.g. loose top with loose jeans - and it makes me look like a guy. I don't really have a problem with wearing guy clothes or being a tomboy, but i think i would like to have a little bit of a feminine edge to my clothes. Also, my dance partner recently commented negetively on my 'sense of style' saying that it gave be no shape at all.

My wardrobe right now consists of:
1) jeans
2) t-shirts, the simple type with graphics
3) a few polos
4) jackets like hoodies

i do however, have skirts, and few girl shorts, and i do have two pairs of flats. I rarely wear these as i dont' really feel comfortable in them, esp. the skirts. Can anyone recommend clothes and accessories? i would like to feel comfortable in skirts, but i don't know what type of skirt looks good...and i'm not sure if i'm comfortable with the idea of wearing a dress, even if i'm 15.
you're advice is appriciated =)

It is all about details, not so much about major things like skirts vs jeans. I rearly wear skirts myself too, mostly for dancing.
Start out with fitted stretch jeans. They are just as comfortable, still very relaxed but a bit more feminine than loose jeans.

Next step is the shoes. Even if you wear jeans, you look a lot more feminine if you have nice shoes not sneakers.

It really depends on what you like to show off. Yeah, as a girl and as a dancer you get to show off. It doesn't mean you go around half-naked, but it means that you get the clothes that emphasizes your natural beauty. Say, if you have nice thin and graceful dancer's arms get something with fitted slieves.

Style your hair. It dosn't mean go get a haircut and a perm. It means take good care of your hair. Shampoo, condition, comb and style.

Have you explored a possibility of wearing a light eau de toilette? You might want to select something with fresh citrus scent, or whatever suits you.

As far as skirts - don't wear the ones that you don't like. That's why you're not comfortable in them. Different type of skirts look good on different people. Try different types when you're at a store and trust your own taste. It seems like tulip skirts are now in, but I don't see myself wearing them. They look good on some people though.

Hoodies gotta be saved for yout tomboy days. Polos too. Get something that a boy will never wear. Shorts are not that feminine in my opinion, too.

your wardrobe is not the problem, your mentality is the problem. try to be yourself (a girl) that will solve the problem
