is there an exquisite pleasure in misery? When you lose all else it is the only pleasure you have left. You will find yourself going out of your way to make your life miserable. You will do things based on your past experiences of pain, (You think that your not supposed to be happy), so you have to justify your feelings. It is a terrible rut to fall into and very difficult to climb out of, but you can climb out and once again face the morning sun with joy in your heart. The first step is to stop blaming yourself. The second step is to learn to love your self. The third step is to be able to take care of your self. Once you have completed these three things. then once again will you be able to experience the joy and love of a fulfilling relationship. I am not saying that it will be easy. Nothing worth having is easy to obtain. Take things one day at a time, and before you know it you will notice that you are looking forward to waking in the morning once again.

Not sure about it being exquisite, but theres definitely something pleasureable about it.
Dont listen to the idiots telling you to pull yourself together.
Theres no hurry, theres no timescale by which you have to climb out of it.
If thats where you are right now then thats where you are.
Lifes a journey, ups n downs.
Where is it written that only the ups should be pleasureable?
If its gonna happen seasonally then you might as well just roll with it.
It has a certain kind of reassuring familiarity.
Cut yourself off if thats what you want to do, its your life.
Why not withdraw completely, lock yourself away, some of your best writing might happen this way.
Everybody does as they wish with their lives, why should depressed people have to be any different?
If its what you want to do then indulge yourself.

initially, the Bible says none human beings is nice (Romans 3:23) so your proposition falls flat on its face proper there. As to why some human beings stay in misery and unhappiness whilst others lead a life-time of happiness and amusement, listed under are some issues to contemplate ... Lamentations 3:22 says the Lord’s compassions in no way fail and in accordance to Hebrews 13:8, Jesus is the same the day earlier immediately immediately and invariably. which skill He’s no longer arbitrary, intervening sometimes and not others with out any obvious reason.  subsequently, there could be different aspects in contact that are at present no longer below His administration, by way of fact He incredibly didn’t create the worldwide this form. think of roughly it.  Jesus didn’t say we’d in no way be ill, yet He promised we could be healed (James 5:15).  He suggested we would have problems in this worldwide, then advised us to take heart by way of fact He’s conquer the worldwide (John sixteen:33).  He additionally suggested he's working all issues jointly for the coolest of people who love Him (Romans 8:28). I take the word all issues to symbolize each and every little thing, good or undesirable. So what are those different aspects? properly, initially there’s our fallen creation it incredibly is at present below the administration of the evil one (a million John 5:19).  because of this we are living in an evil and arbitrary worldwide, the place even the harmless are many times attacked.  in spite of the undeniable fact that it’s worse than that. in accordance to a million Peter 5:8 the devil is often prowling around like a roaring lion searching for somebody to consume. Then there’s our sin nature which could place us exterior of God’s conserving potential with out us even being conscious of it till it’s too late.  and often our faith is so susceptible that even in inquiring for help we make it obtrusive we don’t have faith we’ll get it.  James referred to as this being double minded and suggested we shouldn’t assume something while we pray like that (James a million:6-8).  positioned all this jointly and it’s a ask your self God is able to intervene as many times as He does.

It is a most peculiar thing; we're so helpless in the face of it. It's like a window that simply opens of its own accord. The room grows cold & we can do nothing but shiver. But it opens a little less each time, a little less; & oneday we wonder what has become of it.

My sister and my husband both, who don't like each other, are never so happy as when they are miserable. The point of the whole exercise is to make everybody else around them feel that they must do something about it. I refuse to go on that trip. They don't like me much either.
