Hell yes, Billy Bob should have been banned for life. Pete Rose didn't do anything nearly as bad & he's been banned for life from the baseball HOF and the 8 players of the Chicago White Sox that were caught cheating were also banned for life. What makes this pile of crap so special? Just because his team won a few Super Bowls doesn't give him immunity, or at least it shouldn't. Hang the bum & cover him with asterisks!

NO WAY. Cheating is a part of the game little stuff is ok (jumping the snap count, encouraging the crowd to be nosier). The big stuff is not (chemical enhancement, taping the defencive calls from there sideline). the league make the rules and doles out the punishment if we don't like it we don't have to watch. the best way to force change is to hit them in the pocket book, don't buy the jerseys and don't watch it.

I thought that he should have been suspened one game instead of the max fine.

I know very few NFL teams that would fire a head coach that won three Super Bowls for them (all three in franchise history) over one infraction. It would be the worst decision in NFL history.

they were a great team - now they are a great team with something to prove - thats scary

No. I think the NFL, owners, coaches and many players throughout the League know that stuff like this has been going on for a long time. This was a warning shot to the owners, coaches and players.

Bill Belicheat should have been fined and suspended. In my opinion, he got off way too easy!!! The Patriots should have lost two #1 draft picks!!! Love, Don Shula.

I think they were punished too harshly as it is. But no matter, because now we have a pissed off egomaniac commandeering a near incomprehensibly talented group while trying to send out yet another "F*ck you" to the NFL.

properly, do not blame him for no longer having expressions and focusing on the game through no longer jumping round and being too chuffed. check out Tony Dungy, u do not see him leap round and teach any expressions on the sidelines.
