[I've been told before "guys shouldnt get pierced. period.]

What piercing a guy should get depends entirely on the guy.
If you aren't going for an alternative sort of look, then piercings should probably be kept in the low numbers. It is strange indeed to see a guy in an Abercrombie shirt with snakebites, an eyebrow and his ears gauged. Most people would assume it was a Halloween costume.
I think any young guy can pull off having his ears pierced. You just need to choose something appropriate to match your look for earrings. If you end up not liking them, you haven't wasted much time and won't have a scar in an odd place.
Piercings beyond that need to match your look OR you need to have some kind of metaphysical devotion to them. Consider what your job allows and what kind of girl you are attempting to attract. If you want some cute little princess, then you are probably not best off piercing up your face. If you are a little more open minded and looking for someone to match, then pierce whatever you want and see who comes your way.
If you really like your piercing, but someone you meet doesnt then they arent the person for you.

I think it's going to end up being a personal preference for you. I know guys who have done an eyebrow, their tongue, nose and lip. Some even did one ear. Some kept their piercings and some didn't like them. So, make sure you are going to really want any before you do it and also find out what your job will allow. Some work places don't allow certain ones. Isn't that nice? : ) Depending on where you would get a piercing, I am told some can be painful. lol

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Depends on what the guy looks like. If he does, though, then only one piercing on the left ear, and no huge studs.

Depends if the guy can pull it off. I quite like a labret piercing on guys, or one nipple (never both) I wouldn't recommend much more than that unless your really into it.

i got to say if you're kinda guy who can work with pierce.. i mean still look good on pierce well then yeah you should get one but not at ears.. maybe tounge or lip... or eyebrow.. maybe that's great.

Well my friend had one but he had to take out for school. He had one in his ear. Well, in my opinion, lip and eyebrow pierces are hot. But not anywhere else. It's up to you. But I'd bet it'd look sexy. :)

i have a claw gage on my left ear and my tongue pierced, all compliments but you have to have a look for it, experiment ask around just ask random girls in the mall what piercing would look good on you

guys should deff get piercings, it looks good on guys. yeah it may not look professional, but i think it looks awesome and guys loook siick with them =]

i personally like guys with lip rings i think they are hot. or gauged ears but not like huge huge just like, med, enough to be a convo starter. but then again, thats just me
