how is the structure of earth's atmosphere similar and different then the other planets and how the atmosphere of any planet can effect its surface temp?

Hi. The structure is similar in that the higher you go up the thinner the atmosphere becomes. Venus has a very dense atmosphere which absorbs more energy from sunlight and therefore that planets is very hot at its surface. Mars has a thin atmosphere and is cold partially as a result.
