The first step in handling depression is to find things to be thank full for. Too many people ignore how lucky they are and dwell on negatives. The failure to recognize positives gives you the headaches and understanding how Your life has been more than sad is a first step at healing. With all the poverty and fighting going on in the world each of us living in this country have many things to be thank full for.

There is a cure. It's called love. Find it and you'll be cured. You need to go out and find it. And you will likely find it in the most unexpected place. Forget the looks, forget the glitter. Love, the real thing, comes from the mesh of personality. No kidding! I found mine. And I don't mind saying I was depressed for over 20 years. I am so happy now it's unreal. I atract people like a magnet because I smile, joke and relate happy stories. And with depression you find you repulse people because you make them sad. Pills like Prozac will help temporarily but they're no cure. The cure is within you and especially finding real love. If you can't find love right away settle for just good friends. Gon't hole up. Get out and do things. If interested try a place of worship. Don't like what you find at the start, try some others. I suggest a place of worship that does more than teach. Best one that fulfills social needs as well. Religion is meant to be fun and God likes to see people happy. Hope this offers something. Find the type love I'm talking about and flowers will be spring up everywhere you walk. And good things will befall you like you never imagined. Best wishes in finding it!

the cure for depression is to have something really depressing happening to you. like a death of a most beloved person.
but that is a tall price to pay for depression. so you can play with it as long as you are not bored. hey it's November

well send us the rain, we have too much sunshine I will send that to you , fair exchange.

depression the best cure is to realise you have it and do something yourself to combat it, shrinks, head doctors etc, only make things worse, get active, keep active, make sure you are doing something constructive with your life, and you will not have time to be depressed

It's all about the drugs! The only reason I am alive today is because of antidepressants. Does it suck to be dependent on drugs? Yes. Does it suck worse to be depressed? Hell yes.
