It's not the same for us because we have different reproductive systems. Women's 'periods' are not the same as animal's 'seasons'. However there ARE times of the month when a women is more likely to become pregnant. Men of course are ready any time.

Humans are one of few species (four, I believe) that have sex just for the fun of it, the pleasure of it, if you will. So the best time to try to procreate is whenever a woman is ovulating. The best season..would be fall or winter if only becase of the body heat shared between the two people. Why do you think there are so many spring babies?

Hey you need to frame your question properly it would have been easier to the answerers to know what you were asking.
Animals you refer are the non primate mammals like cats dogs cows and humans (as well as monkeys apes etc) are primate mammals. The basic diff between the two regarding their reproductive cycle is that the females in primate mammals eg humans have 'menstrual cycle' whereas the females in non primates ie dogs have 'estrous cycle'. The menstrual cycle is periodic occurring every month whereas estrous cycle occurs only during a particular months or seasons then only next year. I hope i helped you to undertand the question. Therefore other answers are correct when they tell all 4 seasons are correct regarding sex in humans! (except when the human female is already pregnant ofcourse ).

Not all animals have a sex season. Cats do, for example, but dogs don't, they have periodic ovulation (heat) all year round and that's when they want to have sex (the females) and males want it whenever they see a female in heat, all year round.
Humans belong to the second category.
