I think you should ask your president
why he insists on having
nuclear weapons...what does he
plan on doing with his nuclear
bombs? He hates the US thats
a given, hmm....tell your president
to top making bombs its a little
to obvious.

Bush is trying to go as much damage as he can before he leaves. Iran is rich in oil too remember that. I dont think he will be able to start a war. i hope not.

Ahmenejad is no fool. He wont fight either. I think both nations are just puffing out their chests at each other. No fighting.

Iran doesnt have nukes, doesnt need nukes

Bush is the Fool

Poindexter: You to have joined the ranks of Cheney and Bush as a complete fool.

Howdigethere:You too have joined the elite ranks of Fooletry. You are the perfect example of why the USA has ZERO respect outside of the western world. Cant even say the mans name right. We cant even say the country's name right (eye-ran) wtf

Maxx: Sry about your loss, i didnt think id have to. but your on my fool list too. Allowing the Jews (i have nuthing but this against them) to take Palestine was a HUGE mistake. thats why we have a "Crisis in the Middle East". A matter of DAYS after Israel was created Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq declared war on the new nation. Middle East Crisis wont be solved unti you solve the Palestinian issue

also may the "Thumbs Downs" keep coming, thats my "fuel" if you will. I run on negative remarks

First I pity people who say 9/11/2001!!! How can one be so stupid and ignorant?! First they said this was done by Al-Qaeeda, they attacked Afghanistan, they said Saddam has chemical weapons, they attacked Iraq, they ruined the little life Iraqis had even under Saddam Hussein's dictatorship.
Bush started the so-called "war on terror" and not only terrorism wasn't reduced in world, but our world became more radical, more insecure and Islamic terrorists and radical groups became more active and popular.
There WAS terrorism in world, but what Bush has done no way has solved that, but has made that deeper...
Now they've focused on Iran...
I don't support Iranian regime, its no fair to support it! But I say Americans don't know how to face with these problems, what they do not only will reach to the result, but will make the situation more radical and will let the Iranian regime to gain more power and will use the "protection of country" as an excuse.
The regime is no popular, so don't make it popular!
And political pressures will make Iranian regime give up at last.
And:
US has been successful in action against Saddam Hussein, but not successful in establishment of peace and security in Iraq, US forces cant cover even one city, Baghdad properly. How are they going to manage Iran which is nearly 4 time bigger than the whole Iraq and ethnical and religious composition is much more complex than Iraq. How to control them?
In Iraq two major people are Arabs and Kurds, and two major religions are Shiyas and Sunnis.
While in Iran there are Persians, Azeris, Kurds, Baluchs, Arabs and...
Iran is the only secure country between the insecure Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq in which Islamic terrorists are highly activated. And adding PKK to east of Turkey recently.
Adding Iran to that, and making the terrorism-polluted region larger will resolve anything?!
In fact, adding Iran to them, I think will make Middle-East mutilate for decades...

Peace to our world, thats what we need...

Iran has 1000 centrifuges work now and are about to join the Nuclear family around the work in having what it takes to make a nuclear bomb.

the leader of Iran has stated he wants to end Israel. the Gov. in this country is not loved by it people and it is about to push the button on another country in it's regnant.

This is not a Bush War as so many have said in the past few weeks, it is a War in the making and if it doesn't step down it will have to take place for the safety of the area .

There are 10 religious leaders that run this government in Iran. What would happen if all ten were not to wake up in the morning. The new would say the U.S. did it the U.S. would say Taliban, and then we start naming groups of people in three other country's that don't like what is about to happen.

This is not a good picture, but would you let 10 die to save a whole country of people or even worse, a few country's from a nuclear bomb?

Ask the Iranian President. He is crazy!! Just as crazy as Bush is!! Ahmedinedjad is bad for Iranians and Americans. I didn't realize that nuclear power was more important than the countries well being. Sanctions don't hurt him, but they hurt the Iranian people. Both Ahmedinedjad and Bush have one plan, and one plan only, Iraqi OIL. I hope it doesn't come to war, I have a brother that is heading to Iraq. The last thing our family needs is another war.

conversing as a British Ex serviceman now residing in u . s . married to an American female (Republican) conversing for us 2 and we the two help Pres Bush and the Republican occasion, I see no indication that any Republican fairly Bush needs conflict with anybody, and fairly could elect to steer away from going to conflict with Iran. I do in spite of the undeniable fact that see a President who would not shirk from duty while an Enemy announces conflict on u . s . by employing slaughtering 3,000 civilians and by employing flying hijacked civilian planes into homes. so which you may answer your question NO united statesa. would not elect conflict with Iran. Iran needs conflict with the West which incorporate u . s ..

Nobody in the USA WANTS to make war with Iran. Especially the people who live in the area of the country that I live in. I live in Texas/Oklahoma, an area that is historically known for producing oil. In the 70's there was an oil boom here, a lot of people were in the oil business, including my father. Naturally we made friends with other people in the business all over the world. We hated it it when the governments of our respective countries fell out.

We know first hand that the Iranian people are among the warmest and freindliest in the world. I recently lost my 16 year old son to illness and a friend who was born in Iran went very far out of his way to ease my pain.

That being said I have not met a soul in the US who has one ounce of animosity towards the Iranian people.

However the Iranian governement is developing nuclear weapons, they are the number one sponsor of terrorism in the world. They have repeatedly threatened the anihilation of Israel. (Israel is one of the USA's closest allies, they are also a frequent scapegoat in the Muslim world, your leaders live beyond the way of kings, yet they get the Muslims to blame their problems on Israel). They are supporting the terrorists who are waging war agianst US troops.

The USA cannot risk a first nuclear strikes by a terrorist government. If the Iranian government gets its nukes, the USA will bomb.If they use their nukes the USA will anhilate the country, it will cease to exist.

That is unfortunate but it will be the hand of the Iranian government that causes the death of innocent Iranians, not the Americans.

Because they think Iran are harboring terrorists and aiding them in the 'war'. If you ask me it's just another lousy excuse by the Bush administration to gain control over an oil-rich part of the world. I'm against it 100%, and I apologise for all the idiots out there who think war can be justified by scare-mongering.

The US doesn't "want" to make war with Iran.. but the leaders of Iran make it difficult. They front for terrorism... Most funding for terrorist goes through Iran.

Documentation has been captured in Iraq that Iran has directly supported Shia death squads.

Iranian Revolutionary Guards officers arrested in Irbil in northern Iraq, in a supposed consulate that no one knew about.

We don't want a war with Iraq. We just want Iraq to stop promoting terrorism against us and leave us alone and keep to themselves. And we will keep to ourselves.
