I think it's time to open the phone lines so the government monitors at least 50% of our daily calls. People say downright mean things on the phone about other people and honestly I am sick of it.

Let's petition the government to keep us line. (I don't mean me though, as I already AM in line, but good people like me have to suffer because some idiots abuse their freedom.)

Who is with me?

Yah not so much. People mis-use their freedom, so the government should control it? That is the exact opposite of freedom.

I also don't want to pay more taxes so the government can monitor 50% of 300 million people's calls on the lookout for "mean talk."

and just who set you up to judge who is a good person and who isn't?? i dare say only the very radical right and religious wing nuts would be with you on this one, and a small percentage of them at that.
