Personally, I think that it would all have to depend upon the situation. I suppose if someone made you really really upset, and you did not feel that there was any other adult, respectful way to respond to the person then, maybe slapping someone in the face would be appropriate for you. I am very big on using good communication skills. Physical aggression, or violence should always be the last recourse, what I mean is, the only time you should be putting your hands on someone is if it is a life or death situation or the contact is between to mutually consenting adults. If it is two adults that agree to the activity then "Gloves off" to the both of you.
