Now hear me out before you dismiss this as crazy.

I believe man will always have racial problems. However, if man can persist for million and millions of years, it would be possible to eliminate racial problems by eliminating various races.

Racism is bred from ignorance. As we become more aware of one another, our fear and hatred subside. If left alone long enough, cultures will diffuse until we have one culture. As racism subsidies, it is only natural that men and women procreate. Why not with various races. So on and so forth until BOOM! One race of people.

That is not to say social problems as a whole will disappear. Jealousy and greed are natural emotions that help even our animal friends survive. We will always utilize human emotions to create new social barriers. Unless, we are able to achieve some kind of ultra-developed consciousness that I can not yet comprehend.

Unfortunately I fear that you are correct. I'm a white female and growing up I was angered by the racial attitudes that I saw in people. I just could not understand how they could call themselves Christians and be such racist jerks. I had the urge to paint their stupid white faces black and let them cope.

I even dreamed that some day all the old white people who were racist would die off and we could have a better world but now I see young people growing up with the same intolerant attitudes I just can't understand it.

I have a "white" friend who one day made me realized that she was a very severe racist. I didn't know if I should dump her or re-train her. So I made sure she was invited to every event that I had that some of my black friends would be there.
She was interesting to watch when she realized that they were just people. I'm sure I didn't cure her but I made her question her own attitude.
