Critical thinking requires:

1) collecting all available facts, data, and evidence (and recognizing what relevant evidence is missing or not available)

2) challenging the validity, accuracy and significance of the collected evidence

3) applying logic and reason to draw appropriate conclusions from the evidence

4) constantly questioning and challenging your logic, reasoning and personal biases that may lead to inappropriate or wrong conclusions
