The photo was adoard one the spaceshuttles run by NASA around the 1997. admittally the image could be better, however it does show reinforcements on the outside of this object suggesting that whatever is inside is held at very low pressures The person who can really answer this question is astro-person Ivan Marshall of NASA. Best answer goes to one who is correct.

naw, could it actually be a satellite?

could that be it???? I called a gyroscope earlier
but its a gyrodyne .transfered from atlantis to mir in 1997 along with 4 tons of other "shtuff" only to end up crashing into the South Pacific Ocean in March, 2001

Looks like a blurry picture of a soccer player holding a huge trophy.
The trophy is NOT upright but positioned over on its side.
The silver portion is the "cup" and the portion being held under his arm is the base pedestal of the trophy.
